Trigonometry
This was always my philosophy in geometry. I would try to skip steps and
make logical leaps, and I did this especially when I forgot the "real
names" or "technical details" or "loose concepts" of key steps or wanted to
appear very smart. This boy is so smart he can just -look- at these two
parallelograms and tell they're the same. The rest of us have to use
theorems, crap like that. A rhombus without any parallel lines is still a
rhombus, you know what I mean? Here's a proof I couldn't get away with:
these two triangles are each the same size as my thumbnail. My thumbnail
is equal to my thumbnail. Therefore Triangle A is equal to Triangle B.
